The newly formed Friends of the Douglas County Library have constructed a “money tree” in the Library’s lobby to raise funds for library programming for all ages. Library patrons can purchase “leaves” at $1 each and “flowers” for any amount over $1 at the library’s circulation desk. The “leaves” and “flowers” can include the names of the donors or can be placed on the tree in honor or memory of someone special. The Public is invited and encouraged to purchase a leaf or flower and support the library programming.
