Some of what's happening this week...

1st Annual Christmas Tree Silent Auction!

Mt. Zion Library has 5 trees that need to be decorated and returned to the library to be sold (with all proceeds benefiting the MZ Public Library).

The date of the Auction will be Friday, November 14th starting at 5:30 pm.

This will be a night of excitement!

We will also have our City Christmas Tree Lighting along with FREE Hotdogs and Hot Cocoa (while supplies last).

Entertainment by the MZHS and MZMS Concert Band, MZMS Chorus, Christmas Dance (Fever Studio), Old Fashioned Christmas Carols by Mt. Zion CH Church, and a live Nativity Play by Harmony and Christway Baptist Churches.

There will be Boiled Peanuts, Christmas Crafts, Poinsettias, and a couple other sweet treats available for purchase. We will have a bon-fire and the “Oh So Famous” Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be here from 5:30 – 7 pm.

Don’t forget to have your FREE Christmas pictures made inside the Picture Hutt (plenty Christmas props will be available for the pictures.)

If you, your company, school, club or organization would like to take a 4 ft. Christmas Tree and decorate it and return to the MZ Public Library for our Silent Auction please contact me (Vicki Sizemore) at 770-832-0056 ext. 104. The tree with the highest bid will receive a prize.
